A cold unbearable chill suffocates him, claiming his body as its own, making him tremble in utter fear.
Minute by minute, his sweat clings onto his light green skin, even running into his eyes, hindering him and blurring his vision, which only made his situation worse.
 
Cautiously the blue clad turtle holds onto his katanas, still sheathed tightly in his hands.
All the while he slowly approaches the wooden door on the other side of the old, dusty farmhouse.
 
Should he dare, should he embrace his fate, venturing into the depths of hell that await for him beyond these wooden gates?

“I'm so booored!” Michelangelo cried out melodramatically. “Raphie, entertain me!” he demanded, whining loudly as he clung tightly to his brother's left biceps.
Raphael scowled and pushed his irritating brother away, “Go entertain yourself an' by that, I mean if you try an' prank me again, you'll really find out what it's like to be bored when I break your damn thumbs!”

“Gurgi loves the spring time.” Taran turned slightly, looking up into the branches of the tree he'd been leaning against. Leaves rustled above him, and occasional snippets of the furry forest creature’s voice made their way down to him. “Gurgi loves fresh crunchings.”
The sound of scampering feet across the branches made Taran smile as he shook his head. He’d become accustomed to Gurgi’s strange acts over the last few months, despite being annoyed on occasion by the demand for attention at odd hours. “Gurgi waiting for munchings to grow.     Wheeljack stared at the metallic coil. His facial fins flashed as he hummed, and he moved his body to look at the spring from a new angle. He hummed and repeated the movement again. "This isn't working."
    The engineer stood from his stool and crossed the room to dig through a container. "Here we go!"
    Wheeljack returned to the table and carefully balanced a cylinder beside the original spring. He stared. "Nope. Maybe a nozzle?"

Submit your 4Fs to the gallery folder named "Flash Fan Fiction Friday," located at the bottom of the folder list. These submissions won't be as highly monitored as regular submissions, since you only have a week to work on them. However, grammar and spelling do still count.

Did You Know?

Purple prose is any narrative voice that is overflowing with excessive detail, so much so that it distracts the reader from the rest of the story. While some description is necessary and desired, you don't want to bore or sidetrack your reader from your work.
