Universe: Movie (Post Iron Man 3)

    This was the fifth time it had been late.
    Tony just did not know how to approach this kind of situation. He never had to do it before. As a man of his status, he had always expected such mundane things to just happen. It was hard to come in every morning and not see it there, waiting in all its glory. It was like a little jab to his soul, reminding him of everything he had just gone through. Losing his house, temporarily losing J.A.R.V.I.S., almost losing Happy and Pepper. A man needed that one stable thing in his life!
    “Sir?” J.A.R.V.I.S. chimed from his phone. Tony had nearly forgotten he had propped up the little device on the counter beside him. “I believe the machine has stop Playing Against Type (Transformers: Rescue Bots)He tried spending time with the family, but he felt too exposed.
He tried watching the TV, but that only reminded him of what he was trying to escape.
He tried surfing the web. It worked for a while, the old familiar haunts of the internet soothing him. Pictures of kittens and stories of things his fellow browsers had seen lasted a while. As he sat there crouched over the glaring flat screen, head aching and stomach sick with the fear of the day, he almost began to feel better, to calm down.
Then, at the bottom, almost a hundred topics down, was a question about the objectification of women on reality TV. Like a slap in the face, it knocked him back into his office in Griffin Rock, shuddering in the shadow of a giant poster of a kitten. What if Prescott’s cameras had seen that?
What if he’d used other technology aside from just cameras: Wiretaps, keyloggers, rootkits? What if they had shown Prescott all the things the Burns had written, the pictures they had taken, the mess

This week, let's talk about... wait for it... Anticipation! You may incorporate the theme into your story any way you like, so long as you have fun; using the word isn't necessary.

Why am I quoting Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame song lyrics? Perhaps because it's one of my favorite animated movies? Is it because it's April Fool's Day? Or maybe it's related to the contest I promised in the title?

Let's get some creative juices flowing!
We've been pretty inactive mainly because of lack of prizes for future competitions... and we're still low on prizes but let's get something going to promote activity in the group. This mini-contest will have a really simple topic, because we want as many members to participate as possible.
Crossover theme
This theme has probably already been used in a previous competition but it's always fun to revisit.
THE TASK IS SIMPLE: All you have to do is draw or write a scene that includes at least one canon Transformer and one canon character from another fandom. For example, you can draw Megatron and Loki from the Marvel Universe together, or write about Sideswipe and Sunstreaker pulling a prank with Fred and George Weasley from the Harry Potter series. Be creative!

Submit your 4Fs to the gallery folder named "Flash Fan Fiction Friday," located at the bottom of the folder list. These submissions won't be as highly monitored as regular submissions, since you only have a week to work on them. However, grammar and spelling do still count.
