Last week, we let our inner animals out with our "Predator" theme! Check out the submissions (and my own submission of - oops - last week's theme )!

4F Challenge - Predator (Yoshi/Marioverse)Out of the blue the
island fell, transformed
by a botched-up spell.
Everyone was forced
a brand new look when
their world became a book!
Clay and cardboard,
denim, too. It seems this
book was quite confused.
Young Master Bowser
failed his scheme; using
magic to save a dream.
Instead of the thoughts
within his head, the world
transformed instead.
Baby Bowser got a
scolding. The whole island
was literally folding.
He was amused with his
work, but not the scorning.
He'll fix this. Come morning.
The tree of his dream had
at least taken root. He
would have his tasty fruit.
Mass confusion did
commence. The world did
simply not make sense.
News had yet to spread
around. What had happened
to their ground?
Perhaps it was all some
evil plot. They'll find the
culprit, and take it not.
When Yoshis came for
fruit and meat, they weren't
in for a friendly greet.
A war commenced with great
casualty, when all the Yoshis
wanted was their tree.
The Toadies saw the
frightened land. This...

    Tension cables constricted with each fluid movement the black feline made. It prowled down the dark hallway, belly nearly scraping against the hard floor while the tips of Cybertitanium claws silently clicked with each movement it made. A rigid tail flicked in restrained anticipation, and sharp ruby optics watched its prey turn the corner.
    With the trained precision of a warrior and the natural instincts of a feline, Ravage immediately picked up his speed to keep up with the older feline symbiote. Howlback may have been with the Decepticons for a longer period of time, but Ravage was determined to show that his skills overshadowed the older symbiote.
    And how could the feline deny that it was better than watching Rumble and Frenzy drive the Seekers insane?

“Mal!” Inara grabbed the captain's arm and yanked him across the ballroom floor. She hissed under her breath, “What are you doing here?”
“What?” Bemused, he let her lead him away. They passed multiple party goers, dressed in layers of exotic silks and sipping from crystal champagne flutes. Subtle dance music floated over them, played by a small chamber orchestra with authentic wooden instruments. “Just enjoying the party, like you, s'all.”
“I'm working.” Inara glanced around the crowd.
“For a companion, working and all, shouldn't you be more gentle and friendly like?”

With the onset of summer coming on, let's discuss the "Heat" of the situation! Our theme this week is to either include the concept of heat or the word itself. And "heat" does not have to be literal heat; it may be figurative heat (as in, "The heat is on!"). Have fun!
